The series also includes James Wolk, Tamera Tomakili, Khiyla Aynne, and Benjamin Mackey in key roles, promising powerhouse performances across the board.

The True Story Behind ‘Happy Face’

In an attempt to escape his dark legacy, she changed her name and kept her past hidden.

But when her father—now imprisoned—finds a way to re-enter her life, Melissa is forced to confront the horrifying truth she tried to leave behind.

A Thrilling Race Against Time

The series follows Melissa (Ashford) as she is suddenly pulled back into her father’s disturbing world.

When evidence surfaces that an innocent man might be wrongly executed for one of her father’s crimes, she embarks on a race against time to uncover the truth.

Along the way, Melissa is forced to face the devastating impact of her father’s crimes on his victims’ families—and on her own identity.
