Netflix is keeping the drama alive—Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black has officially been renewed for a second season!

After dominating Netflix’s Top 10 charts, this intense thriller is set to return with even more jaw-dropping twists.

But this time, it’s coming in two parts!

📅 Release Date & What We Know So Far

Netflix has confirmed that Beauty in Black Season 2 is happening, and it will be split into two parts.

While we’re still waiting on an official release date, the renewal was inevitable.

The first season was a massive hit—Part 1 spent four weeks in the Top 10 and even hit #1 in 28 countries in its second week.

Then, Part 2 dropped on March 6, leaving fans on the edge of their seats and desperate for more.

Now, the wait begins for Season 2!

🔥 What’s the Hype About?

  • Genre: Drama, Thriller
  • Creator/Director/Producer: Tyler Perry
  • Producers: Angi Bones, Tony Strickland (Tyler Perry Studios)

Norfleet, Julian Horton, Terrell Carter, Shannon Wallace, Bryan Tanaka, Joy Rovaris, Xavier Smalls, Charles Malik Whitfield, Tamera “Tee” Kissen, Ursula O. Robinson, Ashley Versher, George Middlebrook, Ts Madison

🎬 What to Expect in Beauty in Black Season 2

Tyler Perry himself has teased that the next season will be even wilder than before. In an interview with TUDUM, he said:

“We left fans on the edge of their seats at the end of Season 1, and we’re thrilled to continue Kimmie’s journey as she steps into her power as the newest member of the Bellaire family.

Kimmie exemplifies the spirit of never underestimating the underdog, and I can’t wait for fans to continue to see her story unfold.

If you thought Season 1 was a wild ride, you’re not ready for Season 2.”

Season 1 followed Kimmie, a young woman struggling to survive after her mother kicked her out, and Mallory, a powerful businesswoman who seemed to have it all.

But as their lives intertwined, secrets unraveled—and by the end of Part 2, the stakes were higher than ever.

Now, Season 2 promises an all-out war.

The Bellaire family—who secretly run both a beauty empire and a dark underground trafficking ring—will face the consequences of their actions.

And Kimmie, the once-overlooked sex worker caught in their web, is ready to take them down in a fight for vengeance and justice.

👀 Final Thoughts: Should You Be Hyped?

If you haven’t jumped on the Beauty in Black train yet, now is the time!

With its gripping plot, powerhouse performances, and high-stakes drama, this is one of the most talked-about thrillers on Netflix.

And with Season 2 promising even more intensity, it’s a must-watch.
