Runner, starring Alan Ritchson and Owen Wilson, is now playing in theaters.
The action thriller follows Hank Malone (Alan Ritchson), a former soldier tasked with helping transport a life-saving liver to a little girl who desperately needs it.
Ben Bishop (Owen Wilson) joins him on the urgent mission, but what should be a straightforward delivery quickly goes left when a ruthless cartel gets involved.
Now, Hank and Ben are racing against time while dealing with car chases, shootouts, kidnappings, and plenty of chaos along the way.
What To Know About Runner
While Runner delivers plenty of action, the story also has some heart at its center, with a child’s life depending on Hank and Ben completing their mission.
The film also mixes lighter comedic moments into the action, with Owen bringing some levity to balance the high-stakes situation.
