Frens, how does someone go from being a die-hard Wu-Tang Clan fan to working with the legendary hip-hop group and helping create one of the most controversial albums in music history?
That’s the incredible true story behind “The Disciple: A Wu-Tang Fable,” a new documentary premiering October 16, 2026.
And I’ve got your first look at the trailer and key art!
About “The Disciple: A Wu-Tang Fable”
The documentary follows Cilvaringz, a Dutch-Moroccan rapper and producer whose love for the Wu-Tang Clan turned into an opportunity most people could only dream about.
His determination earned him a place in the group’s inner circle, where he developed a mentorship with The RZA.
But his journey didn’t stop there!
Cilvaringz eventually helped create Once Upon a Time in Shaolin, a 31-track Wu-Tang album that turned the music industry upside down.
Here’s why: Only ONE copy of the album will ever legally exist!
Packaged in an ornate, handcrafted silver box, the album was auctioned to the highest bidder in 2015.
The unconventional release sparked worldwide conversations about the value of music, artistic ownership, and creativity in the digital age.
